A Practitioner Who Lives With SMP

My journey with scalp micropigmentation began in 2016, when I restored my own hairline.

Experiencing the results firsthand changed the way I viewed hair loss solutions — and set my standard for what SMP should look like.

Wanting to learn from the best, I travelled to New Zealand to train under an industry pioneer, immersing myself in advanced scalp micropigmentation techniques focused on realism, longevity, and subtle detail.

Because I’ve lived with SMP myself for over a decade, I understand not only how it should look on day one — but how it should age over time.

From Canberra to the Gold Coast

In 2017, I opened my first SMP clinic in Canberra, where I treated clients from across the ACT and regional New South Wales. That clinic operated successfully for five years, until 30 June 2022.

In 2023, I relocated to the Gold Coast, Queensland, opening Studio SMP in Bundall. While the Gold Coast is now my primary base, I continue to return to Canberra every few months to provide SMP treatments for existing and new clients.

This dual-location approach allows me to service clients both locally and interstate, without compromising on quality or continuity of care.

Many clients are willing to travel because scalp micropigmentation is a long-term cosmetic decision — and results depend heavily on experience, pigment choice, and attention to detail.

For time-poor travelling clients, we can do compressed treatments with all 3 sessions done over 1-2 days (approx. 6 hours total).
